Emily Roux is the daughter of Michel Roux Jr and an experienced chef herself, having worked at some of the world’s finest restaurants. In October 2018, Emily opened her first restaurant with husband Diego Ferrari. Caractère, based in Notting Hill, combines their love of classic French and Italian food. Michel Roux Jr surely needs no introduction. Following the family tradition, Michel Jr trained as a pâtissier and has run some of London's leading restaurants. A Michelin-starred chef and well-known TV personality thanks to his work as a judge on Masterchef The Professionals, Michel Jr has also been a judge for the Roux Scholarship since 1999. He is passionate about training and developing future generations of chefs and has helped launch and supported hundreds of careers.
